Antique Indian Silver Cuff Bracelet, Hollow, Madhya Pradesh, 68.3 Grams

This an exceptionally detailed repousse hollow silver bracelet with terminals, from Madhya Pradesh or Rajasthan.

There was a similar example sold at Christies in 2012. It is shaped to fit the wrist not being round and is very comfortable to wear.

The bracelet with the opening allows for it to slip over the hand - although a very tight fit. The structure of the bracelet is too strong and does not allow for it to be twisted on.

The bracelet is decorated with Three rows of repousse work, silver beading and floral units.

The bracelet will suit a medium size wrist.
