Vintage Indian Snake Chain Belt, Solid, High Grade Silver, 75cm (29 1/2″), 145Grams

This is a solid, high grade silver vintage Indian snake chain belt.

It is made from five woven, flexible, braided, snake chains closely secured by 86 separator bands decorated with a round medallion with a swan figure on each.

The buckle is very secure with a screw pin closure that works perfectly. The screw is hidden behind the front buckle ends and it closes by turning anti clockwise. Each buckle end has been decorated with a repousse insect form and a floral band.

The vintage Indian silver belt is quite heavy at 145 Grams (5.14 oz.). The belt is not adjustable.

The belt has a good patina and wear that has come from years of use. There are no kinks, bends or damage in the belt or the buckle.
