This is a vintage, dating to mid 20th century, genuine, solid, high grade silver, mesh knitted wire flexible chain necklace, from Indonesia.
Through wear over the years it has become smooth and supple and has natural silver tarnishing but will polish up beautifully.
The making of the chain has been beautifully executed. It has a silver lobster claw for closing. The clasp has been marked with 925 - sterling.
